If you are talking about entering the date for an "Event/Fact" entry
on an individuals information then what ever you type in the "Date"
field is what shows.  For such entries e.g. school attendance I have
entered "From 1960 to 1956"  it can also be entered as "1960 -  1965"
and Legacy automatically converts the text shown in reports to "from
1960 to 1965".  Legacy is also smart enough to handle entries such "26
Apr 2000 to present".
