I've had to create numerous "Alt. Burials" that I renamed "Reinterments" for 
people who were reinterred either within the same cemetery or another.  Some 
were reinterred 3-4 times sometimes many years later.  Without this information 
you would never be able to find the current gravesite.  I guess in this case 
putting in the notes section where you click on the + sign would not be a good 
idea.

There are also other burials that took place 3-4 months after death because 
they were done at Arlington National Cemetery and the waiting period is three 
or more months there.  I get that error message all the time for those.

If you click on the + sign beside the burial information on the person's
edit screen you can add notes to the "normal" burial event without
having to create a special event called burial in the list of extra
events for the person.
