Hello, I have been using Legacy for approx 12 months.
There are times when I wish I could simply dump my data and pour it into an access database and do some basic queries and reports and some customisation. I have had a look at Clooz - I thought the idea behind Clooz was good, mainly because I couldnt see how Legacy did the same job. However now that I have trialled Clooz I believe that neither Legacy nor Clooz will do what I want - a simple tabular list of names with hyperlinks for the relevant birth, death, census, Marriage and any other documentation. The list will tell me what documentation I have copies of and will have hyperlinks to the various files for each person. Has anybody else had these frustrations and then succesfully dumped the data to another package to use the name lists to track documentation ? I use MS Access at work and am comfortable creating simple databases and then running my own queries and reports - It is possible that the relevant tools to do what I want might exist in Legacy - however I cannot find them and this is frustrating because I know what could be done using MS Access.
