If I remember correctly, this is usually a function supplied by your ISP. At least, mine does! Generally, these functions work as follows. You supply a range of dates and a message that you wish to be sent to *everyone* that writes to you during the period of the dates. This is *NOT* a good idea for an email account to which a mailing list, such as this one, are forwarding mail.
