I formed my group by previously joining a genealogy group (Southern California
Genealogy Society) which welcomes any member that wishes to, to teach on
related topics, and utilize equipment at the building. The first step,
therefore is to find a 'friendly' building, next find a place in their
calender. You would need to join them if not already a member. Some are in
public libraries, and other public places. Once you find a place/time ask
Millenium to add your meeting to their LUG list and students will come.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Local user group

I would really like to start a local Legacy user group.  As far as I can tell,
there is none in Indiana other than Terre Haute.  I am in the New
Albany-Jeffersonville (which is a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky) area.  Is
anyone out there from here?  Can anyone suggest how to locate Legacy users in
my area?

Thanks for any enlightenment.

Jane S.
