I have a very ornate marriage certificate of an ancestor, and I am trying to
determine whether this is a Fraktur or Artifact. I know that originally,
Fraktur's were elaborate hand painted certificates with some being
illuminated, however, as time passed many of these were done in mass
production on printing presses.

This one was obivously done on a printing press, and mass produced.
Currently I am inclined to think that this is a Artifact (certificate). I
have eliminated Church Records simply because I didn't find this record in a
Church, it is privately held.

I have looked through the Legacy Archives and cannot find an adequate answer
to my question, therefore, I am seeking the groups opinion. Should I cite
this as a Fraktur or Artifact?

Thank you for your assistance,

Charles
