Eric, I'm afraid that I cannot help with the first part, as this may be specific to your files. Is it reproducable? Have you tried using the Reset button to set the defaults and then re-entering your settings? What are your settings for the footnotes? The second part relating to "i" and "ii" is a known bug which is on the list. What version of Legacy are you using btw.?
