To do the family justice, you really need a scientific 3-D charting program. That is probably prohibitively expensive if even available to anyone outside labs. 2-D will be hard to make understandable even on several pages, which would also be very confusing.
Maybe someone doing DNA charting has found a program that can be adapted.
