I had the same problem last year and found that the staff could not resolve. They suggested that one or more program files had become corrupt, but could not identify which ones, nor what might have corrupted them. It was definitely program files and not my data that were corrupt (I verified that via a 2nd computer). They suggested uninstalling and reinstalling Legacy. I found that, perhaps for a related reason, I could not uninstall - so I deleted the files in my Legacy directory (but not the sub-directories) and reinstalled over that. Problem disappeared and has not returned. I can backup normally in any view. The issue arose on a Vista system. Ed Allard
