Thanks to all for the advice.  Useful.  Gives me some ways to work around, 
though is not as tidy as I would like.

Keep in mind that if the recommended options are taken on the report
Format tab it will apply to ALL folks appearing on the report not just
the one that looks clumsy. This may not be what is desired.
