Joyce: Are you saying that you list items 1, 2, and 3 below each as individual sources? If so, that's a rather complicated way to handle a simple citation. In this case the death certificate would be the one and only source while the "WV Div. of Culture & History" and the fact that you transcribed it from a (microfilm?) image are details to be included either at the Master Source level or at the Source Detail level. That might make your sourcing life a lot easier.

In the past, Legacy had a clipboard to do that, but I stopped using it, because adding two sources to multiple people meant the 'details' couldn't be changed on the run, so you needed to go back later and re-edit each. I then decided for myself, I would never work with more than one source at a time.
