It would be nice if Legacy would restore that option for those many of us who found it essential.
Notice the word, "option." Deleting a highly useful feature to cater to those unable to understand its value does not diminish its value. Retain it as an option for those who NEED it rather than totally delete it for those who are unable to fathom its simplicity and effectiveness. CE -----Original Message----- From: John S. At one time in the distant past (ver. 4 or 3 or 2), it added the source(s) to all fields which had data AND no source. In any event, when Legacy had the ability to include up to 5 sources on the clipboard, there were many, many posts on this board expressing confusion about how to use it. Probably more than are now lamenting its removal. A large majority of users stated that they had no use for this feature. With the introduction of Legacy 7, Millennia said they were eliminating the feature because it caused so much confusion. Personally, I used the feature a few times, but very rarely. I think its utility depends on how you research and how you format your sources. I usually have different source details for each individual and it doesn't work very well in those situations. That's not to say I would object to having the feature back, but I think very few people would use it. John S.
