I agree Legacy has more positives than many, that doesn't mean it can't be improved though and I would think that the mailing list is used as a source of feedback by Legacy. While the data input is very good the reports have at times been found lacking in Legacy. Even the charting was an add-on program until recently.
We can dream of having a report writer in the next version. The silly part is that this would not be a problem if they hadn't removed some or the report output options found in most other reports, why they did this is hard to understand as it would have been more work than leaving them there. Anyway, back to my query I cut and pasted the info from the pdf to word and then formatted it to what I liked. Thanks for the help Mark PS the old dos command was prn>filename.txt from memory. Windows used to supply a dummy printer driver that would output to a text file but I cant find it in Win7 (64) -----Original Message----- From: Jenny M Benson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, 12 February 2010 6:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Creating a Birthay List Hotmail wrote >No one got any suggestions.
