See this thread that I started. It might help you. I use the suggested
technique and it worked for me.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Compairing Two Legacy Files

I have just received a Legacy file from another family member and I want to
compare it to my own and add any names, events or sources that I don’t have in
my own data base.

We each have over 4000 names, so it would be a big job to do a split screen and
go file by file.

Now I know that I can do a merge, and then check for duplicates, but again that
is a huge job. And unfortunately the numbering systems are difference too.

What I hoping to be able to do is just get a list of names, events and sources
that are different between to two data bases.

Is there any way I can do this?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
