Bill,
When that happens to me I do a manual merge.

I just attempted a drag and drop operation involving my great-grandmother.
When I dragged the new information on my great-grandmother and her ancestors,
instead of linking the new information into the existing individual, Legacy
created a new line which is not connected to my existing data.  How do I tell
the system that the new g-grandmother is really the old one, i.e., RIN 10230 is
really the same as RIN 12?
