How does one cite an obituary that you wrote? I would like to include all the newspaper clippings of the obituary of my mother, however, since I wrote the obituary, would I cite this obituary like any other obituary and add another source to the obituary that I wrote it or some other way? For now, I've entered it in my Obituary event as I would any other obituary, cite the newspapers, etc., but in the notes section I indicated who actually wrote it.
Also, the funeral home gave me a copy of the final "Funeral Notice", the obituary that I wrote and how it was to appear in several of the local papers. Is this something that is cited? I would still like to include a digital copy of it in Legacy, but not sure how or what to do here. Also, the same question would apply with her death certificate. I now have the certified original death certificate, however, I was the informant for that as well. I apologize if this has been covered in an earlier thread. Thanks in advance for your help!
