I've decided I agree with you and Ron (not a surprise really) - Yes, this is a very good example of why it's a good thing to do.
The other options listed in this thread only work today, manual work is needed again tomorrow as new data has been added to the database. Adopting this style of data entry keeps me from rework in the future. Addresses and other notes I want to show up in a location report are entered in the location notes. Notes I don't want to show up are also put in the location notes wrapped in privacy tags [[ ]]. It works well. Even with all the info. available in the archives, I'm still learning these lessons the hard way. Can't believe I'm the only one. What a shame!
