Oh boy have I got 2 large problems, so please bear with me while I try to explain. I am using 7.5.0.6 and all the bells and whistles that go with it! I received a GEDCOM file from overseas and have opened it up in Legacy, it was created in FTM 2006 version 16. I printed out the Error report on the GEDCOM import and found there were some married Male persons had been given the letter 'F' in the sex column. Their wives are also 'F' I have managed to changed all but 3 of them, but cannot get the 'Individual's Information' window to open the section where I can change the 'F' to the 'M', they are grayed out for some strange reason - any ideas, anyone??? Secondly the file has 1246 people under the 'Name List' icon, listed as 'Unknown' in green italics with no sex M/F only the letter 'U'. As far as I can see, without checking 1246 of them individually they are NOT connected to anyone else in the Name List window. I think they may have been left behind when some one did a clean up at the senders end. How then could I 'Delete' the whole lot in one feel swoop? In other words I would like to be able to delete everyone from RIN 3464 to RIN 4710 in one go. Susan, Victoria, Australia.
