Brian, I use the method described often on this list of keeping my database (.fdb files and multimedia files) on a USB thumb drive, which I can carry back and forth between the 2 computers. I make backups to the C: drive of whichever computer I'm using, just so they are on a different medium, but I've not had to restore from backup.
I find that my user settings are all stored on the hard drive where Legacy is installed (e.g.: C:/Legacy), not with my data files. Thus, they can be different on each computer.
