Bad news ... all you can do is clean-up manually.

I only use it when adding a brand new individual, when the clipboard
source would apply to everything I have entered. Maybe a warning (that
can be turned off) when using it on anything BUT a new individual would
be appropriate. It wouldn't affect me since I am happily using V6.
