Ann, Your questions are slightly puzzling, and seem to imply that the update is a new installation, which may have installed in a different directory to your existing (old) installation. In other words you may have two installations, is was in C\Legacy and the new one in C\Progam Files? I should not delete anything at this stage, although removing the old Desk-top link and will not harm anything.
