Hi Richard,

Thank you for your response. As you are probably aware, it was the only reply I
received.
I am wondering, "Doesn't anyone else using Legacy transfer Events in their
GedComs?"

Whilst your system might work, I don't feel disposed to create over 1,550
Dummies.

Kind regards

Robin

The way I would do it is to create a person named 'dummy' (or other),
and attach the Event to dummy, then move dummy, using gedcom or the 'Legacy to
Legacy tool', carrying dumy from old computer, to creating/copying new
computer's dummy. Then move the Event from 'new dummy' to your person that
needs it. Finally remove all copies of dummy. There may be an easier way, but
this shows all the steps.

          Hi,

I want to transfer "event.usr" files from a computer that is running
Legacy 6 to a computer that is running Legacy 7. Both are Deluxe versions.

I tried copying, but although the file is present on the file listing
of the Legacy 7 computer, the settings do not work/update the original settings
in the Legacy program.

Is there a way of doing this without manually changing each setting?
