Well, I did "unselect" that bold option to highlight the direct line people
and tried the screen bold select again and it didn't work. I wonder why that
option is available under the font selection if it's not REALLY available.
Thanks for responding to my question. I'll stop trying to bold the screen
font now.

You are not doing anything wrong. Legacy reserves Bold text for
highlighting the direct line children in lists, Including the list of
children in Family View. See Options > Customize > Data Format
