The fact that >it does not do so makes this a bug report, not an enhancement request!!! My definition of "bug" is "not working as designed". This is an age old argument that can't be resolved in this thread without seeing the requirements that were handed to the programmer before he/she started. If the requirements document didn't mention it, then it is an enhancement. Brian is in the best position to know this. Besides, if you report it as a "bug", Brian will probably enter it in MANTIS as an "enhancement" anyway. ;-) I would not consider Legacy Charting as "integral". It is not available in standard Legacy V7, is it? I think of it as one of the add-on programs that just happens to be bundled with deluxe Legacy. >And I'm betting that's not the only Legacy option that is totally >ignored by Charting. I am sure you are right. The same goes for other Legacy add-ons. Legacy Charting Companion does not honor quoted given names, short location names, etc. -- Dennis Kowallek (LTools) http://zippersoftware.com/ltools http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ltools Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
