I have not tested this, I I have no wish to follow your suggestion and I
don't want to have to redo my files (whether it works or not)

However, I think if you go to Options>Customise>Data Format and set the
Letter case of names to "Do not change what I enter" and then change
(manually) all your direct lines to caps it should then do the job.
