Lloyd, It probably is a good idea, although I do not do it myself, but has little or no connection with your subject! What is more important for colour schemes is to go to Options>Customise>Colours and on the bottom right are the options to save and load your colour schemes. Now this I do, and it has saved my life on numerous occasions.
