This is a tall order since no-one has x-ray vision to see what you've
done exactly. However,

1. I would start with doing a search of your computer to find everything
related to Legacy.
2. Then I would move it all somewhere for safe-keeping.
3. Then I would reinstall Legacy and see what happens. If things don't
work the way they should, and they probably won't (i.e. database,
pictures, linked documents, etc missing) I would then look through the
backups I kept (step 2.) and copy back anything that should be in the
installation.

It sounds like it could be a bit like brain-surgery but what else can
you do? You may have deleted critical components, like your database,
but who would know?
