I don't know how you accomplished this feat, but I have managed to replicate the effect. To do this, I: a) Clicked the left button down on an unused bit of the toolbar and b) Dragged the toolbar off of the Legacy window. c) Then, clicked on the close button of the new window Instead of clicking the close button, you can simply go to another open application and the new window disappears, but reappears when you go back to main Legacy window. Note that in either case, there is no indication anywhere that there is a small, orphaned window floating around. However all is not lost. If the window reappears when you return to the main Legacy screen then you can simply drag the title bar of the window back into the Legacy window. If you can't find the second window, click on Options-->Customise and the toolbar should miraculously re-appear. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
