Actually, when I first started using Source Writer templates, I used some
templates that, later, I wished I had used another, more suitable, template.
The sources read fine with a little tweaking, but I would like to be able to
change templates, rather than make new ones, then delete the old.

An Ltool would be welcome to be able to open a source, then by a "click", be
able to change the source template to another, more suitable, template. This
might be beyond the logic capabilities of the present program, but it would be
nice.

Scott,

I didn't reply yesterday because I was hoping someone who knew for sure or
could explain it better would answer.

As far as I know, no, you can't do this within Legacy (unless you're replacing
a citation made with the same template). I don't know if Dennis Kowallek's
LTools would help you do it or not.

The times it has happened to me, I haven't used the citation with very many
people or events, so I just add the new citation (using the Source Clipboard if
necessary), then delete the old ones individually.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Following up to an earlier thread I started, I use one Source Writer
template for my master source and created a number of detail citations

attached to it throughout my file. After more research and dialog on
this list, I realize that a different template would better enable
proper citation of my source. Is there a way to convert a Master
Source from one template to another, or do I have to re-do every

instance?
