Chris, Very interesting, although I note that it is still in the development stage and cannot, as yet, read a GEDCOM. I see its main potential not as an integral part of a program such as Legacy, where I think its usage would be minimal, but more as the basis of a stand alone java program which could generate files for incorporation into a webpage. It is possible to do this at present with a linear chart, but the fan-tail would be more attractive. Currently on the linear chart the starting point can be changed so that one can look at any section of the tree. If you wish to see a linear chart in action, I use one at http:://www.fergys.co.uk/genealogy/FamTree.php Ron Ferguson _____________________________________________________ *New* Tutorial: Add Location Pins to Google Earth http://www.fergys.co.uk Includes the family tree for Alan J Grimshaw And the Fergusons of N.W.
