I have a book that I use as a source many times in my family history, the author researched all of our family surname in a particular state from 1750 to 1860. He has a identifying number on each person. There are so many duplicate names, I use this number often as I research this book and add information to my Legacy file. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could add this number for the corresponding person in my Legacy files? It would be so helpful if I could see at a glance that I'm adding information on the correct person. Thanks, Syble Cline Glasscock
