Peter: As Terri says, there was a long discussion about this some time ago, and I'm fairly certain the bottom line was that you can't. I have an old copy of FTM (v11) that will do this sort, so I just export a GEDCOM from Legacy to FTM when I want a list by dob.

Index View can only be sorted by RIN, Given Name, Surname or UserID. Calendar List Report is probably better than nothing (Reports > All Reports). I don't think so. The only other choice I know of is to export a list to a spreadsheet like Excel and play with the data until you get your desired results. I find it can be a real pain just to get a simple list with 3 columns - name, birth date & birth place. The program I used before Legacy used to allow you to create such a report and sort by birth date, but even that program doesn't allow this any more. If you are familiar with Access you may be able to get a report that way. Or maybe the UserID field could be used for such purposes. Somewhere in the archives there is a discussion about this very topic. It's probably in the "old" archives - see bottom of any LUG email for the link to archives before Nov. 2009.
