The following is a partial GEDCOM downloaded from Ancestry.com. Notice the tag
"_APID" in line 24 of this sample.

When the image of the source is found on Ancestry.com the url is as follows:

http://search.ancestry.com/iexec/?htx=View&r=an&dbid=8058&iid=4409558_00047&fn=Isaac&ln=Johnson&st=r&ssrc=&pid=742056

Part of the "_AIPD" tag is dbid=8058 and I assume this identifies the database
in which the image is located.
pid=742056 is the other part of "_APID" and may be the page number of the image
or the primary identifier in the
database.

I can see no significant use for these numbers in my Legacy database so I would
choose to ignore this tag when importing
a GEDCOM from Ancestry.
