I might suggest one alternative.

I used to have a copy of FTM on my computer that I used to do exactly
what is needed here. I no longer do. But when I did, I found the folks
on genealogy.com's FTM forums doing a lot of this type of thing.
Genealogy.com is, of course, owned by Ancestry.com. Those forums seemed
to get much quicker response than many of the ancestry forums - many of
which are largely ignored since Ancestry also ignores them.
