FWIW, I have an iPad, and have just tested an app. called Families, that
syncs with Legacy on my PC. It uses something similar to Dropbox, but its
part of their app. Unfortunately it doesn't handle relationships etc, so its
not really ideal for info entry, which can be done. But for a small,
portable device suitable for showing to family on visits, or having it when
visiting libraries, burial sites etc it is really cool. Cost is $14.95 or
so, so it doesn't break the bank.
