Sounds like you attached the picture to the Address and not to the Event, so
I don't think it will show as you desire unless you add it a second time to
the Event, then you should see the picture in the lower right corner of the
Add Event or Edit Event area.

I attach a picture of the entrance of the cemetery to the Address, then
attach a picture of the headstone in the Individual Event (I use the Buried
area for this, but it is an Event, too, so works the same way).  I will most
likely re-use the cemetery (with it's associated address and picture) to
more than one individual, so I don't want a headstone in the cemetery
address picture area.

Adding a picture to a Source Detail is different than adding the picture to
the Event or Address.  Someone else will need to comment on connecting image
files as I am still learning these things.
