I wonder if somebody can help me with a report I've been trying in vain to generate for the last few weeks.
I want to display the census data for my direct line ancestors, grouped by the year of the census. I can produce a list of my direct line ancestors easily enough using the Search function and I can find those with census data by searching for those with a master source containing the word census. The events report, however, groups the results by person and can only be produced in PDF format. What I'd ideally like is this information sorted by year (and location if possible). The best way would seem to be to produce a CSV file and export it to Excel to manipulate it. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Or is there an easier way that's staring me in the face but I can't see it?
