Subject: [LegacyUG] New user

I just received my Legacy Deluxe Edition package in the mail this week and have
found that it is SO much easier to use than my old software, The Master
Genealogist. I do have one question although I don't think there will be an
answer that I will like. When I imported the Gedcom file into Legacy many of
the dates got transposed in the process. When I entered my data into the old
program I was very new at genealogy and had entered my dates as MM DD YYYY.
When they show up in Legacy they are turned around such as 01 05 1974 ( Jan 5,
1974) turns into 1 May 1974. I have about 6,500 entries in the file so it will
be no small task editing each on by hand. Is there anyway to search for and fix
such errors? Also what happens to dates such as 12 20 1946 (Dec 20, 1946) since
there is no 20th month?
Thanks,

Ken,

Have a look at Options>Customise>Dates and set the format to that which you
require.
