Scott, Your para 2. is basically what I said. You can put forward an enhancement request should you so wish, but I wouldn't hold my breath!

You can't edit marriage notes from the individual list. FWIW, you can't edit any notes from the individual list other than General, Research and Medical. 2. While the marriage notes are on the family view, if I need to edit 6 dozen of them with a specific attribute, I first have to search for them. If I needed to edit 6 dozen individuals, I could search for them, get a list of just those 6 dozen, and edit them in directly in the search list. Nice and easy. For marriage notes, I have to search for them, get the list of individuals, click on an individual to go the family view, click on the marriage note, edit it, return to the search list, click on the next individual, and so on and so forth. Not as easy. I could, in lieu of a search list, use the "Find First" option, which will take me to the first person with the marriage note, click on the note, change it, click next individual, etc., which is easy enough except that I will end up at each marriage twice. The only way around this is to add a second condition on the search to look only for one gender, but it still requires more steps than editing individuals. It also risks not finding marriage notes when one spouse is an "unknown". So, possible, but more steps and less convenient, IMHO. The Marriage Notes are displayed in Family View so either partner will bring them up. The disadvantage of the current list is that it contains twice the number of records than is strictly necessary, although this can be limited by also selecting only one partner by sex.
