Maureen,

The steps for adding a second set of parents are in Legacy's Help file. Please
click on "Help" on the menu bar and select "Show Help Index" > "Tutorial
Lessons" > "How to Add Additional Parents." There is also some helpful material
at http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/tipsMultiple-SingleParents.asp.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Following two paternal lines

Good evening, I just started researching a friend's line and immediately
hit a snag I'm not sure how to deal with in Legacy. His father was born out of
wedlock. His biological father is known, and he was adopted, we believe, by
his mother's first husband. I have been asked to trace both lines. The
question that has arisen is: is there a way in Legacy to attach both father s
to this son, one as biological and one as adoptive? I apologize if this has
come up before. I did search the archives, but I might not have used the
correct search parameters. Thank you, Maureen Lake
