I've had it. The discussion on plain text vs. HTML has proven to me that Millennia has absolutely no intention of addressing users concerns regarding this subject. It is clearly more complex than going to the Legacy website for advice on e-mail client settings. Sherry herself couldn't figure out how to send plain text from Gmail.
HTML is mainstream in 2010. Ron, it may have started out for web pages, but it's used routinely in e-mail clients today. Look at how many users with different e-mail clients can't even turn it off. And it's not just so that advertisers can make things pretty, it provides useful formatting options even for regular e-mails. I believe this is a very vocal, very small minority lobbying to keep the things the way they are. Millennia, in this thread and others, simply repeats 'the rules are the rules' and 'we don't support e-mail clients', and 'don't talk about this anymore'. Ignoring the wishes of the majority of the list clients is Millennia's prerogative, but it's lousy customer relations. No need to reply, I am unsubscribing after this message gets posted and won't see any replies anyway.
