I run Legacy on my iMAC using VMware Fusion and Windows 7.  As noted earlier, 
all my stuff is in the Windows side of the system; however, there is a feature 
in Fusion that you might explore - Unity.  It is some sort of feature that 
allows crossfeed, but I have no idea how it works.  You might try talkign to 
the VMware techies.  I had it working one day, but it got in the way of doing 
genealogy and I haven't revisited it.
