I track all of that information in the Research notes. If a place is uncertain, I usually will not include it in the Location field, or will include the higher level jurisdiction (e.g. a source says "Philadelphia?, PA" -- I would put "Pennsylvania" in the field, and record that the source said possibly Philadelphia in the research notes.
