Jerry, Just be a wee bit careful with the missing sources search - I don't think it is working reliably. If you have a file where every entry is sourced, and you check the "ANYTHING meaning that one or more items do not have a source", you may get a whole list of names, all of which are already fully sourced. If you search using a group of the individual boxes, some combinations especially when the Name box is checked, will hide people with missing sources.
If any one of the boxes for Child Status, Relationship to Father, or Relationship to Mother, is checked (and with no other boxes checked) the search brings up a list of ALL the children in the file. This is regardless of whether or not there is data in those fields, and regardless of whether or not any data that is there already has a source. Has anyone else had problems with this search? The only safe way I know to find all the items with missing sources is to search with the only one of the individual boxes checked at a time. The unreliability of various parts of the Missing Sources search was reported as a bug in 2009 - Acknowledged in Dec 2009 [150-12AE17CE-23EA], March 2010 [320-132ECF1E-A9F6], and others. It has not been corrected in the several upgrades since version 7.4.1.19 when I first reported it. I'm using Legacy 7.4 Deluxe. I did figure out how to do the individual field selections by un-checking both the EVERYTHING and ANYTHING boxes. I can get close to what I'm trying to do, but not quite. I'm trying to get a list of all the individuals who have no sources listed of any kind. I think I mentioned to you that some of my individuals only have the UNSPECIFIED SOURCE until I can get more complete information. But the query still brings those up - but that's not too bad. I think that field must be ignored by the query. I can get close to what I what anyway.
