Hi Jenny. Sorry it took me a while to get back to you - out and about. Yes, when I pull up the marriage list, I get a bunch of unknowns in the husband and wife fields, which is ok when I have one, but not the other on the record, but I've got lots of them that are both husband and wife unknown with no data at all. I think I know how it happened. I went through a major merge process of four branches of our tree to merge them together for the purpose of putting them all back on our website as one tree.
When I merged probably about 400 or 500 duplicates (carefully to make sure they were the same person), I never thought about what it would do with the marriages. I guess it left them hanging with no data left. So, it looks like I can safely do the OPTIONS / Remove the Marriage Link on the marriage list page. There is no option to delete a marriage not attached to any person that I can see. But all the persons in my database with relationships seem to be intact. Does that sound right? Thanks! --Jerry On 11/19/2010 2:55 PM, Jenny M Benson wrote: > On 19/11/2010 19:41, Jerry wrote: >> Does anyone know of a search technique to find any instances where they >> might be a "spouseless" marriage in the Legacy database?
