Thank you everyone! This was indeed the problem. I don't remember doing it, but 
at some point I did enter the information into the burial location 'address'! I 
have now corrected it and everything is fine.

Elizabeth,

The fact that that cemetery is shown in brackets ( ) indicates that it
is a burial address. Go to View > Master Lists > Address > Event. You
will find the cemetery listed there. If you want to delete it use the
Options button and select Delete from the list.
