Thanks, I'm just starting to get into the nitty-gritty of the custom
events and I see that it was listed there, so I selected IGNORE and it
did take care of the problem. I don't really understand the custom
events menu system much because, for example, what is the purpose of
having an event for BIRTH and DEATH, when if I select ignore, which I
did upon import of the gedcom, the birth and death information came
across just fine. So what's the purpose of some of the extra custom
events? I guess I'll have to go to the wiki and study some more on
that issue. But if anyone has a short explanation, that might help me
out. Thanks, --Jerry
