Thanks, I'm just starting to get into the nitty-gritty of the custom events and I see that it was listed there, so I selected IGNORE and it did take care of the problem. I don't really understand the custom events menu system much because, for example, what is the purpose of having an event for BIRTH and DEATH, when if I select ignore, which I did upon import of the gedcom, the birth and death information came across just fine. So what's the purpose of some of the extra custom events? I guess I'll have to go to the wiki and study some more on that issue. But if anyone has a short explanation, that might help me out.
