I included all the same people in the report. I said descendants of
#1234 for all reports. Very simple. There are intermarriages although
the marriage it hung on is not one of them. I did not tell to skip
duplicates because that is not what I wanted. I don't want to hide
relative marriages.

Never mind. I tried telling it to stop whining and keep going. Presto!
A report. There's nothing wrong with the database.
