Syble, If Legacy is installed as recommended by Legacy then you should see it by going to Start>Computer and click the C Drive bar. There should be a Legacy Folder there with its (and your) stuff in it.
One thing I didn't ask was whether you are running your user name with administration rights. Go to Start>Control Panel>Change your Account Type, and select "Administrator", if not already selected. It is arguable as to whether turning off the UAC is a security risk and even Microsoft send out mixed messages on this. It should be, but is not very effective, and there are other (easy) ways of putting malware on your machine which the UAC will not pick up. However, instead of turning it off you could try selecting "don't notify me when I change Windows Settings" (Go to Start>Control Panel>Change your Account and select change user account control settings) - this is the one which I use. I cannot really compare like with like for you as I have my Legacy 7.4 version in the program files (not recommended by Legacy, and it does take some setting up). This is because I run another version in C:\Legacy\, however, I have run both versions for quite some time now with problems. I had not, but did, I followed their instructions, downloaded with antivirus off and reinstalled it., changed UAC setting as they instructed (I'm a little concerned with that, am I putting my computer at risk?) I had used a fresh install on the new computer originally and it is installed on C drive (haven't put in another one yet) When I go to start, it's there in the list with MS Word etc as it was on old computer. I tried twice after reinstalling and changing the UAC seting to "Create webpages" each time I'm getting that same message, I can click on the X to close the window and the error message will go away, but I had to do that 5-6 times in the process of creating the webpages. I'm concerned that they are not like they should be. Where is Legacy installed in your PC? I just now went to Control Panel>Programs under Location there is nothing, some of the other Programs I installed have nothing under location, others I installed have C:Program Files...etc Any other ideas? Have you looked at solution by error number? Did you use a fresh install of Legacy 7 from the Legacy website? Where is Legacy installed in your PC? What is your UAC setting? I'd made a backup of my files, then I restored them to my new computer. All seems well. This is the first time of tried to "Create Web pages" after moving files to the new computer. I need to update my website. This is the error I'm getting: Error deleting file: C:\Legacy\Temp\LG~1.LDB Error 53: File not found Would you like to TRY IT AGAIN? I've tried it several times. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what my problem is?
