Also, any web pages you create using Legacy will not appear on the
internet until such time as they're uploaded to a site, so it's safe to
have a play with your own database without the rest of the world being
able to see them.
I find the web page generation is a good way to share information with
my immediate family - who want to know about our ancestors, but don't
want to operate a database. When I've done this, I've copied the web
pages onto a disk and given that to family members.
Ron Ferguson runs a mailing list called WUL ("webs using Legacy", I
think) which you'll find at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/WUL/ In
the Links area of that group you'll find some sites that have
Legacy-generated pages in them.
Generating web pages from your Legacy database is very easy, and a good
way to take another view of your data.
